I have been around tattoos all my life. My father (Joe Boyle Jr.) is also a tattoo artist so I got interested in the art at a very young age.

I started tattooing in late 1991 after serving an apprenticeship in New Jersey. I then traveled around and worked in Philadelphia, Delaware, & Maryland, where I met Bo McConaghie and Chris Henry.

After 7 years on the east coast, I decided it was time to move back home to Washington (where I grew up).
